A leading required a mobile plan branded application for both Apple and Android stores for one of its hospitals.
Most of the patients are not digitally connected and still using old methods of communication. The goal of the application was to better engage members on their mobile devices.
We designed, built, and implemented the member mobile app for the client. The app included features such as one-touch dialing, appointment calendar, PCP info, digital ID card, current medication list, and provider directory with maps and directions. The application included the capability to target the specific needs of certain patient populations.
For example, the maternity app would notify a pregnant woman when it was time for certain tasks. The app also includes a text messaging feature with “Call to Action” text message reminders for care gaps. Post-surgery precautions, advice, and notification for patients which included online assistance too.
Trust of the patients increased multifold after the successful implementation of the mobile app. The appointment becomes much easier for patients as well as for doctors. Most of the queries got answered by a mobile app which saves a lot of time of doctors
